You’ve probably noticed that a new installment of the Gemini Readers’ Companion hasn’t been posted in a few weeks. That’s because Wil has been busy getting ready for the upcoming promotional push for Frame 232, including a five-day trip to Dallas, where President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in November of 1963. A sizable amount of marketing material from the trip will be offered here in the weeks and months to come. In the meantime, here are two images that may pique your interest—

Mark your calendars—Macmillan Publishing has announced that the mass-market paperback edition of The Gemini Virus will be released on August 27, 2013. We hope to have an image of the cover to share with you soon.

More great reviews for The Gemini Virus are turning up everywhere. Also note that two of the most recent are from Italy, where Gemini has reached the Top 20 bestselling new novels in the science fiction category just three weeks after its Italian release.

Wil attended the December 4th taping of The Late Show With David Letterman (guests were Matt Damon, Martin Freeman, and JD McPherson) and got a tour of the stage and studio afterward. With the remarkable success that The Gemini Virus has been enjoying in the United States, it is now scheduled to make its first appearance overseas—on November 22nd, it will be released in Italy by Gargoyle Publishing. A report on Italy’s popular book site Diary of the Phoenix reads, “On 22 November, a month before the date at which the Mayans predicted the end of the world, Gargoyle will publish The Gemini Virus, a novel by author Wil Mara, who specializes in disaster fiction. The book, which released in the U.S. in early October, is already receiving great acclaim from American readers.”
